Six Recycling, when taking into account both payroll and payouts made to customers, has to be putting millions of dollars into the East Liverpool economy every year. Will it take the Six Family moving the business out of the East End to prove to City Council their economic impact on our city? I have been a customer for over 25 years, before the Six Family even took over the operations, and I can say, without a doubt, that their facility looks better than it ever has. When I use to drive on Kent Street the only thing you would see were houses that were in various states of disrepair. I hope the City Council comes to their senses and approves the zoning change. We cannot afford to lose any more business in this City.
I agree! I worry about the future of the city. If we don't work with and support the businesses then how can the city survive? If we lose another business we lose more tax dollars. I hope the council shows their support.
For too long East Liverpool was not business friendly. I think this council is diferent. We need all the business we can in the city and I hope they support the change.
