I give up with you. Its very hard to discuss something with someone who has no reasoning ability as you seem not to have. People like you are the reason the world is in the shape it is in.No, i havent been drinking, but I guess to talk to you a person would have to be drunk. Do yourself a favor, clean up, shave, and do some community service.Maybe go back to school on the government and get a better education. I am really sorry that i wasted my time trying to educate you on the issues.
image and words, that is just what they are, coming from you.You havent a clue of what the issue is. If things are so bad for you, why dont you leave. The city is pursueing annexation talks, not forcing anyone to do anything. The best think you can do is go to these meetings and express your views or keep quite. This is why we live in America.
There is only one reason for annexation and that is greed. The city has been hemorrhagging businesses and population since the 80's and what has their response been? The business district is like a ghost town and yet the best and highest paying jobs in the city are city government jobs. The city has been ineffective for 30 years to stop the flow of businesses leaving and unable to bring new businesses into town but everyone on the public payroll is living well. Why? The wheels of government churn very slowly but they churn relentlessly and crush anything in it's path which ends up always being the tax paying property owners. The excuse when this happens is that it is for the common good of the "people" when really the only benefit is to the government and the people that leech from it. Do you really think that any person or any company that left Liverpool will say that they are not better off now then when they were inside the city?
have it your way with your way of thinking. But when services are cut due to the rising cost to furnish them, dont complain. maybe u should run for office instead of sitting back and complaining . Cant help it but i am for government and know what service is.
not a hard question to answer, The larger the city tax base is the better services they can afford such as more police protection, as well as lower millage rate for citizens. Sort of like if you havemore money, the more you can have.Does that answer your question.
Why would the neighboring townships want to be annexed by EL?? the city has so many problems now I do not know why anyone would want any part of East Liverpool!
