Jeremy Piven on Broadway

Success just keeps on coming for Jeremy Piven. Last month, he took home his third Emmy for his performance as Ari Gold in Entourage, and he's currently on the big screen in Guy Ritchie's RocknRolla.Tonight, he makes his Broadway debut in David Mamet's classic play Speed the Plow. Piven seems to have grabbed the brass ring, but it hasn't changed his easy-going, self-deprecating style. Q: What does it mean to you to step on the Broadway stage?A: David Mamet is a playwright who grew up in my hometown of Chicago. My father - no one actually knows this - was friends with David and he was the first person to give him money to start his Piven Theater Workshop. So there's a lot of personal history. Mamet is a Pulitzer Prize-winning, brilliant, prolific playwright, and I'm from a theater family, which is why it means the world to me to be on the Great White Way. It's going to be my Olympics.
