WELLSVILLE - American Heritage Series with David Barton will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside Presbyterian Church, Wellsville. The topic is Four Centuries of American Education. All are welcome and refreshments will follow.
EAST LIVERPOOL - There will be a Nehemiah/Second Harvest food distribution Tuesday at the Community Resource Center, 940 Pennsylvania Ave. Senior citizens will be served from noon to 1:30, others from 2-3:30 p.m. Please bring your ID and proof of residency. Also bring your own bags.
EAST LIVERPOOL - The First Church of the Nazarene, Walnut Street, will have a clothes give-a-way from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Use the Minerva Street door. Any donations are appreciated, but infant to teen clothes are needed and can be left at parking lot door.
LISBON - Columbiana County Archive and Research Center will hold a quarterly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the center, 129 S. Market St.
EAST LIVERPOOL - The ELHS Class of 1956 is planning a picnic on Sept. 6 at Thompson Park, Pavilion no. 3. Social time is 1 p.m. and lunch will be at 2.
All class members and guests are urged to attend. It will be catered and donations will be accepted.

HOOKSTOWN - Raccoon Creek State Park's beach will close for the season at sunset Sept. 28. The food concession stand at the beach will close Sept. 1 for the season.
