The Review
On Aug. 17, parishioners from Christ the King, Columbiana and St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Mission, Youngstown, joined at coffee hour to recognize Reverend Lowell Wellman and his wife Jan for their many years of faithful ministry to the Church. Fr. Lowell has brought his gifts of Bible scholarship and Biblical Greek as well as the ministry of anointing to promote the spiritual nurture of the congregation. Jan has brought her gift of music as the church’s organist. Jan has worked with the clergy and music media team in creating a blended worship service, which includes contemporary and traditional songs for congregational singing and liturgical rites. Jan and Fr. Lowell each were given beautiful laser engraved plaques with inscriptions of appreciation. Prayers of gratitude for their ministries were offered by the clergy. Those present shared in a delicious pot-luck lunch and special cake for the occasion. (Submitted photo)
