LISBON-Lisbon David Anderson will be holding a meet the team night for all fall sports teams Friday. The night will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a parade from the fairgrounds to the school auditorium. Introductions and activities will take place at the school following the parade.

LISBON - The Lisbon Park and Sadie Van Fossan Pool in cooperation with First United Methodist Church will be hosting UMC Splash, with free swim from noon-6 p.m. Saturday, and at dark a free movie in the park on the ballfield. Lunch will be served at 3 p.m. in the park pavilion. This is a bring your own chair event. The pool concession stand will be open during the movie. This is open and free to the public.
HIGHLANDTOWN - Christian Music Festival and Car Show, sponsored by the Highlandtown United Methodist Church, will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday. The evening will consist of music, cars, food and family fun. The entertainers include: Bud Powell, Lighthouse Band, Worship teams, Southern Gospel duo Ken Stull and Kim Vassar, Jack and Bonnie Lutz Dulcimers, Younglife, D C Music and more. Free admission and bring a lawn chair. Dash plaques and trophies will be given at the Car Show.
