EAST LIVERPOOL - The Friends of Beaver Creek State Park are seeking crafters and artisans for its October festival Pioneer Craft Days, slated Oct. 4-5 in the Pioneer Village of Beaver Creek Start Park.
Demonstrators of old-time crafts such as basket making, candle dipping, quilting, dulcimer building, and other woodworking skills are being sought to be part of this historic event. There is also space available for new crafters at the outdoor fest. All items sold by crafters must be at lest 80 percent handcrafted. Period costumes for crafters and demonstrators are requested but not required. Last year's crafters are reminded that Aug. 31 is the deadline to pay for your craft site if you wish to keep the same spot.
Antique vendors are welcome, but only authentic antiques permitted. Any organization wishing to make and sell apple butter on site also needed. Only quality handcrafted items accepted and home party businesses do not meet the criteria of this festival. There will be an area for antique farm equipment displays.
Anyone interested in being part of this event may contact Alice Ann Whitehill at 724-573-9109 or dulcimama1@ core.com.
