The Review
Casey Havens, of Quaker Digital Academy (QDA) and Scott Shepherd, head of Edutech Corridor, show off one of the 215 bookbags filled with supplies given away to the public at the second annual “Edupalooza” back to school bash in downtown East Liverpool on Saturday. QDA facilitated a $1000 grant from Walmart Distribution Center 7017 in Wintersville. “Edupalooza” was made possible by a large number of local businesses, organizations and charities. The bash featured 21 different booths, live music and demonstrations by the East Liverpool police and fire departments, as well as the St. Clair Township K9 Unit and the State Highway Patrol.
