Steven M. Wright, 18, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was cited with no license and failure to have reasonable control after he was northbound on Hunston Road in Unity Township at 6:25 p.m. July 19, spun counter clockwise across the center line and off the left side of the road and struck a wire attached to a utility pole. Wright initially fled, but was found by East Palestine police.
Kelly A. Peppel, 22, Kelly Park Drive, Columbiana, was following a John Deer tractor and hay bailer driven eastbound on state Route 172 in Center Township by Jeffrey A. Baker, 52, state Route 172, East Rochester, at 9:50 a.m. Friday. Peppel went to pass the Baker at the same time Baker turned left into a driveway and the two collided. No injuries were reported.
Chad D. Fowler, 29, Salem Grange Road, Salem, was westbound on Salem Grange Road in Salem Township at 3:46 a.m. Saturday. He drove off the right side of the roadway striking a culvert, mailbox and utility pole. Fowler was cited with OVI and failure to have reasonable control.
Christian N. Glavasis, 21, Canton, was westbound on state Route 172 in West Township at 9:05 a.m. Saturday when he went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and embankment and then fled the scene. He was cited with OVI.
Justin H. Childs, 39, Hackett, Ark., was driving a semi northbound on state Route 11 in Fairfield Township at 2:36 p.m. Saturday followed by Amanda N. Carrigan, 30, Wheeling, W.Va. Carrigan's car struck Childs from behind. She was suffered minor injuries and was cited with assured clear distance, OVI and a seat belt violation.
Francis R. Day, 26, Camille Street, Hanoverton, was eastbound on state Route 558 in Salem Township at 5:40 a.m. Thursday when he drove off the right side of the road, striking both a curve sign and a utility pole. Day was uninjured and cited with reasonable control.
Patricia A. Pesta, 64, Rayland, was southbound on state Route 7 in Middleton Township at 4:20 p.m. Friday when an oncoming vehicle driven by Christopher R. Pew, 28, Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, made a left turn in front of her causing the vehicles to collide. Pesta, Pew and Pew's passenger, Rikki L. Hunter, 23, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, were all taken to East Liverpool City Hospital by Negley EMS with minor injuries. Pew was cited with failure to yield the right of way.
Brian L. Bell, 22, state Route 45, Wellsville, struck at deer at 5:25 p.m. Friday while driving northeast on Cameron Road in Madison Township.
Virginia L. Mills, 47, Buffalo Road, Kensington, was southbound on Myers Road in West Township at 7 p.m. Tuesday when she failed to maintain control, went off the left side of the road and ended up in a swampy area. She was uninjured and cited with failure to control and OVI fourth offense.
Steven R. Morris, 39, state Route 172, Lisbon, was westbound on Cemetery Road in Hanover Township at 5 p.m. Wednesday when he went off the right side of the road and struck the end the side of the bridge. He was uninjured. Morris was cited with OVI, driving under a failure to reinstate suspension and failure to control.
Robert R. Westover, 39, Hazel Run Road, Hammondsville, was westbound on state Route 39 in Washington Township at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday when the trailer of the truck he was driving became unattached. The trailer went off the northside of the road, struck a guardrail and overturned. He was cited with a towing requirement violation.
William T. Lewis, 58, Hunter Camp Road, Lisbon, was eastbound on Adams Road in Center Township at 7:10 p.m. July 21. Helen E. Henderson, 50, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was northbound on Lisbon Road when Lewis pulled from a stop sign into her path causing her to strike his vehicle. No injuries were reported. Lewis was cited with failure to yield.
