EAST LIVERPOOL - Pauline V. Boram, 95 of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1919, in East Liverpool, a daughter to the late James and Ida (Dugan) Hess. She lived her entire life in this area, working as the head housekeeper at the former Mary Patterson Building before retiring in 1981. She was also a member of Northside Community Church.
She is survived by a son: Ronnie (Patti) Boram of Calcutta; three daughters: Phyllis Ferguson of Wellsville, Barbara (John) Sambroak of New Cumberland, and Darlene Scott of East Liverpool; a sister: Thelma Hamilton of East Liverpool; 13 grandchildren: Catina (Ronald) Givens, Heather (Chris) Campbell, Ronnie (Krista) Boram, Randy (Karen) Ferguson, Brenda (Eddie) Conkle, Teresa (Willie) Coleman, Steve (Denise) Ferguson, Kimberly (Jay) Staley, Cathy (Phil) Powell, Amy (Jeff) McLaughlin, Mark (Carrie) Scott, Brian (Paula) Scott and Michelle (Larry) Jones; 28 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ronald E. Boram whom she married on Jan. 22, 1938; and four brothers: Russell, Raymond, Charles and Richard Hess.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Rose of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
