The Review
The New Cumberland Lions Club Pulled Pork take-out will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., July 19, in the parking lot of the Swaney Memorial Library. The pork sandwich will cost $5.50. Coleslaw topping on the sandwich will be an additional $.25. Smoked chicken halves will cost $6.50. Both are available as dinners with two side dishes - baked beans and potato salad or coleslaw - for an additional $1.50. Whole smoked pork butts will be available for $26 by advanced order only. To ensure receiving the half chicken (alone or as part of a dinner) or to order a whole pork butt, advance orders must be phoned in to Lion Bob Manypenny at 304-564-5055 by noon on July 17. The dates for the remaining pulled pork events are Aug. 23 in the Swaney Memorial Library parking lot, Sept. 27 and 28 at the New Cumberland River Fest and Oct. 25 in the Swaney Memorial Library parking lot.
