LISBON-Robert E. Vincent, age 75. of Lisbon, Ohio passed away at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio on Saturday, July 12, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
The son of the late Eldon and Leola (Lutton) Vincent, Mr. Vincent was born in East Liverpool on Jan. 7, 1939. He was employed as a Chemist at the former Engelhard Co. now known as the BASF Chemical Company before retiring.
He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School.
Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Schultz) Vincent of the home; four sons, Robert Vincent of Elyria, Ohio, Richard Vincent of Virginia Beach, Va., Stephen Vincent of Ft. Myers, Fla. and Kevin Blaner of Newell, W.Va.; two daughters, Denise Blaner of East Liverpool and Tanya Bailey of Lisbon, Ohio; two sisters, Jean Sawders of Winter Haven, Fla. and Sherrill Bailey of Lisbon, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn (Miller) Vincent.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Blakely of the First Christian Church of Wellsville officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Calcutta Monday from 5:30 up until time of services at 7:30 p.m.
