SALEM - Dwight L. Nelson Sr., 62, of Salem, died at 7:27 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at his home with his family.
Born on March 15, 1952, in Winchester, Va., he was the son of the late H. O. and Ruth V. (Bohrer) Nelson.
He just retired this year from Brunk's RV where he was a truck driver for 22 years. He was currently attending the Connecting Point Chapel in Beloit.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ann (Ling) Nelson; his children, Dwight Nelson Jr. of Idaho, Nicholas and Adam Nelson both of Salem and Shannon Nelson-Bell of Salem; siblings, Alvin Nelson of Chambersburg, Pa., Herman Nelson of Great Cacapon, W.Va., Wanda Ebersole of Chambersburg, Pa., Helen Cowgill of Milton, Del., Linda Lambert of Augusta, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Connecting Point Chapel, Beloit. The Pastor James Keaton will be officiating.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
