Janice Glover reported an attempted breaking and entering around 9:47 a.m. Saturday. Glover said as she was about to start cooking at the Y-Inn, state Route 7, Rogers, she noticed a piece of plexiglass that was moved from the cellar door to a park bench.
Rachel Hawk, Rochester Road, East Rochester, reported at 7:17 p.m. Thursday a pickup truck on Summers Road in East Rochester was parked off to the side of the road. Another woman, Hallie Whitman, told a deputy the truck belonged to her son, Nathaniel Mango, who was out of town working. A deputy noted the vehicle was not blocking the roadway, but advised Whitman the truck cannot be parked on the road.
Michael Gubesgh, Bower Road, Minerva, reported at 8:12 p.m. Thursday a physical altercation he had with his neighbor Jeremy Keener. Gubesgh said Keener threw a beer glass at Gubesgh, which prompted Gubesgh to strike back, and take the fight to the road where Keener reportedly pulled a knife. Keener's father, Rick, said Keener had keys, not a knife, in his hand, and that Rick would move Jeremy out of the area for the time being.
Sheriff deputies assisted the Lisbon post of the State Highway Patrol following a domestic dispute reported at 6:48 p.m. Friday on state Route 45 near Stookesberry Road in Lisbon. A man reportedly was trying to get a woman inside his vehicle.
Jerry Wells, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, reported at 7:43 p.m. he and his wife, Melissa, are in the process of moving out of his residence when they spotted the owner, Randall Joseph, who has a protection order against Wells.
Kristin Steed, Old state Route 558, Leetonia, reported at 10:02 a.m. Thursday their landlord kicked them out and took their TV, Xbox, air conditioner and a shelf of DVDs. Deputies spoke to the landlord and explained she will have to formally evict Steed and her fiance and even if they agree to go willingly she cannot keep their belongings or she could be charged criminally.
Eric Eitnier, no address listed, reported at 12:09 p.m. Thursday he and his wife are in the middle of a divorce. His 8-year-old daughter lives with her mother on Clarkson Road, Rogers, and the mother's boyfriend will not let the daughter Skype with him. The mother told deputies she was the one who cut the daughter's Skype talk short because she did not like the child's father talking down to her.
