STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Paul E. Emmerling, 80, of State College, Pa., died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Fairways at Brookline.
Born Sept. 19, 1933, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Raymond and Georgia Emmerling. He married Susan Dwinnell.
He was preceded in death by wife, J. Patricia (Patty) Emmerling, and brother, Richard Emmerling.
He is survived by three sons, Jeffrey P. Emmerling and his wife, Linda, of Chapin, S.C.; Gregory S. Emmerling and fiance, Peggy, of Daytona, Fla.; and Steven J. Emmerling and his wife, Mary, of Chapin, S.C.; two stepsons, Mark Lynch and his wife, Kimberly, of Boston, Mass.; and John Lynch and his wife, Eileen, of Durham, N.C.; five grandchildren, Jessica E. Takach (David), Raymond E. Emmerling (Chafin), Carl A. Emmerling, Jack Lynch, and Ryan Lynch; and two great-granddaughters, Sarah E. Takach and Lacey M. Takach.
Paul attended Thiel College in Greenville, Pa.
He was president of Turbine Rings Technology, Wolverhamton West Midlands, UK.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, June 19, at Koch Funeral Home with Celebrant Jackie Hook officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, in Stevenson Cemetery, 1515 Methodist Rd. Greenville, Pa.
