Scott Rudder, North Market Street, reported May 23 he let Chris Brown borrow his lawnmower, and he has yet to return it.
While on patrol an officer saw a motorist strike a barricade on Race Road at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The motorist said he was blinded by the sun and could not see the barricade.
Police were called to a neighbor dispute on East Washington Street at 9 p.m. Saturday. Jeff Decort reported Eric Dixon was hanging property on his fence and this is just the latest in a series of ongoing issues between them. Decort was advised a report would be on file but this was a civil matter.
Police received a call of someone carrying cats on South Market Street near the bridge at 9:23 p.m. Friday. No person with cats was found.
A street department vehicle driven by Robert J. Miller, 20, struck the gutter and scrapped the ceiling in the car wash bay on North Market at 5:34 p.m. Friday. The truck was able to get free by backing out.
Police were called to the ATG store at 7:45 p.m. Friday, where Karen Bertschy wanted to file a missing person's report after Michael Bertschy was not dropped off by the CARTS bus. She called back later to say he was found at the Save A Lot.
Sherry Clarkson, 53, St. Jacob-Logtown Road, Lisbon, struck a vehicle pulling a trailer driven by Timothy Basich, 56, Leetonia Road, Leetonia. This occurred when Clarkson pulled onto East Lincoln Way from South Jefferson at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday. Clarkson was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
