Steven Kent, Unity Line Road, New Waterford, reported at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday someone used his Social Security number and name to file a false Ohio tax return.
Doug Mackey, North Shore Drive, Beloit, reported a domestic fight at another address nearby at 9:13 a.m. Thursday. Deputies spoke to Gary Ohler, North Shore Drive, Beloit, who said he got up and was getting ready for work when his brother Greg asked him to take him to work. Gary Ohler reportedly told him he did not have time to take him and a fight ensued leading to wrestling, and Greg allegedly biting Gary on the side of the face. Gary Ohler did not wish to pursue charges, and Greg was not located by deputies.
Josh Stilley, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, reported at 7:30 p.m. Thursday there was a burglary at his home sometime during the afternoon. Someone reportedly came into the unlocked home and took seven guns - a Bushmaster AR15, a Henry rifle, a Marlin 22 Magnum, a Savage 22/250, a CVA muzzle loader, a Remington 870 shotgun and a Colt 1911 22-caliber pistol. Also missing was two quart jars full of change.
Holly Powell, no address listed, reported an ATV in the area of the Touchless Car Wash on state Route 45 at 5:26 p.m. Thursday. Deputies checked the area for ATVs, but did not find anyone.
Leo Hammond, U.S. Route 30, Hanoverton, reported at 9:25 p.m. Thursday someone was on his property without permission. Kasen Smith told deputies he had permission to be there. Dispatchers called Hammond, who said Smith and others were allowed to be there to fish, but not at night.
Matt Cooper, Canal Street, East Rochester, reported at 9:04 p.m. Thursday there was a red and yellow ATV in the parking lot at West Elementary. The owner of the property had asked Cooper to get them to leave and they did. He only wanted a report on file.
An alarm at Farmers National Bank, U.S. Route 62, Salem, brought deputies at 7:05 p.m. Thursday. Deputies found a woman, Kathy Williams, inside the bank cleaning and told her to notify the alarm company about her presence there.
Leona Leek, state Route 39, Wellsville, reported at 6:20 p.m. Friday a mail box was stolen from her son's gravesite at Highlandtown Cemetery in Washington Township.
An ambulance was called to a home on state Route 45 in Salem Township at 4:35 p.m Thursday after a man was found unresponsive on the floor in his trailer. The man was confirmed dead, and his sister, told deputies he had been battling terminal cancer.
Marcie Gregory, Darner Road, Lisbon, reported at 9:20 a.m. Saturday three fraudulent charges on her PayPal account totaling $450.
Paul Conkle, Bye Road, East Palestine, reported at 7:52 a.m. Saturday Norfolk Southern Railroad was doing work on the tracks and tore up his yard in the process.
