The Review
Boy Scout Troop 2041 member Eric Elliott leads a flag burning ceremony Saturday morning at East Liverpool’s Serpentine Garden while troop members (from left) Caleb McHenry, Matthew Haustman, Tommy Burgess, Alex Burgess and Nathaniel Hackney assist. Sitting on the grass is Cub Scout Pack 43 member Killian McHenry. The scouts were at the garden to properly dispose of American flags for the East Liverpool-Calcutta Area Garden Club, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The replacement flags were donated by Frank Dawson of Dawson Funeral Home. Troop 2041 is attached to First United Methodist Church. (Photo by Stephen Huba)
