CALCUTTA - Susan Margaret Wolfe, 76, of Hamilton Street, Calcutta, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in East Liverpool on March 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Beatrice Myers Triner. A lifetime area resident and homemaker, she was a wonderful wife, a loving and caring mother and "Mimi" to her grandchildren. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church at one time. She was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1956 and the school's Alumni Association.
Her husband, John E. "Jack" Wolfe, survives at home. The couple married April 2, 1965. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Vicki L. Smith of Columbiana and her husband, Timothy Smith of Rogers, Jodie Carlisle and her husband, Dan of New Springfield, Ohio, and Julie Dawson and her husband, Dallis of Calcutta, as well as one son, Timothy J. Miller and his wife, Tina of Calcutta.
She will be fondly remembered by her five grandchildren, Rebecca Smith, Wyatt and Cooper Carlisle, and Emily and Jack Dawson.
Susan is also survived by a brother, Jerry "Mouse" Triner and his wife, Ginny of East Liverpool.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, John S. Triner Jr.
Friends may visit Monday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2-8 p.m. The Rev. Willard "Chuck" Adkins will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff and residents at Assisted Living Ministries and the 5th Floor Staff at East Liverpool City Hospital.
