WILDLIFE LEARNING

May 12, 2014
The Review
Beaver Creek Wildlife Center volunteer Dave Naukam (right) teaches Malachi Jakupa, 3, and Rozilynd Woike (left), both of Cleveland, about the big cats the center has on display this month. Beginning this weekend, The Beaver Creek Wildlife Center will be open 1-5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through the end of the month. New displays at the center include a bird nest display, two bald eagle mounts, an arctic fox and a piebald deer. The center is also having a rotating display of wild life mounts on loan from Stark Parks. Every five weeks will feature a new set of mounts. Coming soon will be a bear display.
