HAMMONDSVILLE-Christopher Michael Sprouse, 20, of Hammondsville died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an accident Friday night, May 9, 2014.
He was born April 11, 1994 in East Liverpool, the son of Mark C. and Valori (McConnell) Sprouse.
Christopher graduated with honors in 2013 from Edison Local High School and Jefferson County Joint Vocational School, was a member of the National Honor Society and the FFA. He attended Owens College in Toledo, Ohio and worked at Ohio Caterpillar in Boardman, Ohio. He was a member of the East Liverpool Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Christopher was also an avid farmer on the family farm.

Besides his parents, Christopher is survived by his brother Mark Eric, of the home; his maternal grandparents, William and Marvel McConnell of New Philadelphia, Ohio; his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Lila Sprouse of Hammondsville, Ohio; and many loving uncles, aunts, great-uncles, great-aunts, and cousins.
A service will be held Wednesday May 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville, Ohio with Brother Matt Grossman an elder at the East Liverpool Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Hammondsville, Ohio.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
