CHESTER-Sue Jane Ludovici, 83 passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester where she had lived for the past two and half years.
She was born on July 25, 1930 in East Liverpool, the youngest child of the late Nicholas and Jessie Warrick Stewart.
Sue graduated in 1948 from the former Chester High School and began working for Ohio Bell in East Liverpool and then in San Diego, Calif.

A very active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester, Sue was a Cantor, choir member, and a member of the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild.
She loved to golf and was a member of the Beaver Meadows Ladies Golf League, and for more than ten years she volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
In August of 1952 she married Dom Ludovici who preceded her in death, and together they had five children, Michael and wife Lisa, Frederic, Joseph and wife Tammy, Jill Orenzuk and husband Marc and Ronald all of Chester. Sue is survived by ten grandchildren, Lauren, Michael, Carlie, Nick, Anthony, and Jessie Ludovici, TJ Glass, Lizzie Orenzuk, and Mariah and Justin Ludovici, and her great-granddaughter, Olive Glass. Her brother Bill, Stewart of Cincinnati also survives along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition, Sue was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle, her sister, Rachel Allison, and her brother, Nick Stewart.
Rev. Father Eric Antwi will preside for a Mass of Christian Funeral on Tuesday May 13 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester. Friends are invited to visit with family on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where a Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Interment will be at Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester following the Mass.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild or the Valley Hospice.
