The Review
Oak Glen High School senior Vanessa Hissam receives a certificate from Wendy DeAngelis, a health science technology teacher at the John D. Rockefeller IV Career Center, during Wednesday's awards banquet for junior and senior completers. Hissam, 17, of Chester, was honored for achieving 981 hours in health science technology, her field of study. She was one of four Career Center students to receive the Outstanding Achievement award and also was recognized for perfect attendance, being a silver medalist in this year's SkillsUSA competition and being a National Technical Honor Society member. Seventy-four Career Center seniors completed their programs and will graduate with the Oak Glen class of 2014. (Photo by Stephen Huba)
