The Review
A squirrel peeks his head up through a thick canopy of Mayapples or “umbrellas,” as they are sometimes called, on a rainy Tuesday afternoon at Thompson Park. Mayapples are a spring ephemeral, meaning they pop up in the spring time only to wither away during the summer months. Rain, to some degree, is predicted in the local forecast through Saturday.
