INDUSTRY, Pa.-Nathan R. Henthorne, 83, of Industry, Pa., passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014.
Born on Nov. 6, 1930, Wellsville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Rockenhauser) Henthorne.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace DeLauder and Martha Little, and three brothers, Fred, Wayne and Walter Henthorne.
Mr. Henthorne was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He formerly worked for ESM and Crucible Steel.
He was a 51-year member of 485 Glasgow Masonic Lodge, a member of the Crystal Chapter No. 18 Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of East Liverpool.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Ingrid Black Henthorne of Industry; a step-daughter, Connie Black Noah of Industry; three step-sons, Karl (Angela) Nagel of Industry, Colonel Doctor Eddie (Veronica) Nagle of Iowa and Jesse (Stephanie) Black of Ridgeway, Pa; five grandchildren, Ryan, Kalea, Dustin, Erich and Rachel; three great-grandchildren and also two daughters, and their families; and a sister, Pearl Duck of Wellsville
Friends will be received Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m., in the D.L. Williams Funeral Home, 848 Midland Ave., Midland, PA 15059. Rev. Dale Sutton will conduct the funeral service, followed by full military honors, as presented by American Legion Post 481 Honor Guard, and also services by the Glasgow Masonic Lodge 485.
