In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Cathy J. Pappas, 39, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, was bound over to the county common pleas court grand jury on a charge of felonious assault. Pappas is accused of hitting Sidni Lovolsi severly on Feb. 23, causing her to seek medical treatment on March 5 .
Brandon S. Kirkpatrick, 28, East Clark Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly attempting to choke Ashley N. Wetzel while she was pregnant on April 1 and striking her three-year-old daughter with the bathroom door.
David Nemeth, 35, Brown Street, Lisbon, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and a license plate light.
Jason Harris, 27, Cusick Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Kenneth L. Grossen, 37, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $130 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seat belt citation.
Taylor Johnson, 19, East McKeesport, Pa., was fined $100 and had her license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana.
Laura Battaglia, 42, High Street, Salineville, was credited with four days served in jail and had her license suspended for 180 days for drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and a brake lights violation.
A May 8 pretrial was set for Paula J. McFarland, 35, Teegarden Road, Salem, cited with theft for allegedly shoplifting DVD and Blue Ray movies from the Salem Walmart on March 9, fleeing on foot and then in a GMC driven by another person. The items taken totaled $434.
A May 15 pretrial was set for Craig S. Brunner Jr., 27, last known address East Sixth Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly breaking into his ex-roommate's apartment on Sept. 23, taking video gaming equipment, damaging the door frame and selling the equipment at Cashland where it was found on Sept. 24.
A May 15 pretrial was set for Brandon E. Hacker, 21, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, cited with theft for allegedly taking jewelry from Bonnie Parise when his friend Alexa Wilkes was watching the house and brought several people to the house with her when she went to check on it. A probation violation hearing was also set for Hacker for previous convictions of criminal damaging and menacing.
A June 2 pretrial was set for Brittany Conner, 21, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
A June 5 pretrial was set for Mark D. Kireta, 45, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, cited with OVI second offense and failure to control.
A citation of driving under suspension against Lokalani Elizabeth Mae Kalima, 24, West Pine Lake Road, Salem, was dismissed due to her license being valid on the date of the charge.
