LEESBURG, Fla. - Georgenna Dorcas Raber, 89, Leesburg, Fla., went to be with the Lord on April 3, 2014. She was born on July 9, 1924, in East Liverpool, to the late Grafton and Georganna Barrett.
She was employed for many years as the school district's first female school bus driver.
Dorcas was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, both in Ohio and in Florida. She was president of PTA, 1972-1973 Band Parent's president, Citrus Belles, AFA Officer, and Ohio State bowling champion.
Just four days prior, she lost her husband of over 71 years, Donald Raber.
She is survived by two sons, Donald W. (Cathy) Raber of Leesburg, Fla., and David E. (Marla) Raber of Howey-in-the-hills, Fla.; grandchildren Kimberly, Derek, Nathan Raber, and Madison (Robert) Molinski Raber, all of Leesburg, Fla., and Anderson Taylor Raber of Tallahassee, Fla.; along with one great-grandchild, Amelia Molinski.
She also leaves behind her little dog, Gracie. Dorcas loved to laugh and entertain. She loved playing cards and crocheting. Above all things in life, she loved her husband, her children, grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Raber were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home. Burial followed in the family plot in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
