The Review
Tri-State Veterans Burial Group members Ernie Grogg (middle) and George Gamerdinger (right) talk to World War II veteran Marion Congo, 90, on Tuesday at The Orchards at Foxcrest. The burial group, representing East Liverpool American Legion Post 374, Chester American Legion Post 121 and Chester VFW Post 6450, visited the Chester nursing home to honor the veterans living there. In addition to Army veteran Congo, they distributed service baseball caps and American flags to Marine Corps veteran Jim Heldreth, 92, Air Force veteran Dick Rodgers, 87, Army veteran Del Cooper, 94, and Army veteran Edgar “Puddy” Blewitt, 87. All of the men are World War II veterans. (Photo by Stephen Huba)
