EAST LIVERPOOL-Dorothy J. Horsley, 90, a lifelong East Liverpool resident, passed away at the Nentwick Convalescent Home where she had resided for the past several years.
A daughter of the late Clara Croxall Kampmann, she was born here on Aug. 5, 1923.
Along with the love of her life, her late husband, photographer Jack Horsley, Dorothy owned and operated the Horsley Photography Studio in East Liverpool for many years.
She graduated from the East Liverpool High School.
In addition to her husband who passed away in 1987 and her mother, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Wood, and Mary Shannon, and her niece, Judy Shannon Norton.
Survivors include her care giver, Jeannie Ryan whom she loved like a daughter, six nieces and nephews, eleven great nieces and nephews, and six great-great nieces and nephews.
In fulfilling Dorothy's wishes, no services are planned and she is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
