March 18, 2014
The Review

James Smith, Macklin Road, New Waterford, reported at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday in mid February Pay Pal/GE Capital contacted him regarding a $3,000 camera on his account. Shortly thereafter he began receiving letters from other bank institutions about someone attempting to open accounts in his name looking for some critical information to complete the accounts. The letters came from Citizen Bank, Virginia Capital Retail Bank, Capital One Bank, Barclay Card and Chase Bank. Smith reported he did not attempt to open any of the accounts, nor did he purchase or receive a camera. The delivery address for the camera was in Sedalia, Mo.
