LISBON - Richard A. Tucker, 59, of Lisbon, died on March 14, 2014, at Beaver Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.
Richard was born in East Liverpool on May 16, 1954, a son of the late Carter "Nip" and Mary (Galloway) Tucker. Having lived all of his life in the area, he was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, class of 1973.
Richard worked for the Ferro Corp. as a kiln placer for 17 years and as a mechanic and maintenance man for Murray Trucking, for six years. He enjoyed woodworking, and working on his antique car. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife: Robbi Lou (Robinson) Tucker, whom he married on April 20, 1974; three daughters: Tanya McLaughlin and her husband Chris, Lori Johnston and her husband Rob, and Misty Reynolds and her husband Isaac, all of Lisbon; three sisters: Shirley Buchheit and her husband Jim of Hollywood, Calif., Marge Burson and her husband Bob of East Liverpool, and Linda Scott and her husband Dwayne of Lisbon; four grandchildren: Peyton McLaughlin, Ashlee McLaughlin, Lucas Johnston, and Hailey Reynolds, all of Lisbon; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a brother: William "Bill" Tucker; and two sisters: Marion "Jean" Hickman and Vivian "Bib" Nutter.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at 6:30, at the West Point Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Mike Simm, officiating.
