The Review
East Liverpool Mayor James Swoger (left) and Liverpool Township Trustee Steve Betteridge look over the 1995 GMC TopKick truck the city recently purchased from the township for $15,000. Betteridge gave the keys to Swoger on Friday. The diesel truck is equipped with air brakes, a snow plow, a salt spreader and an eight-ton dump bed manufactured by Quality Truck Body Inc. of Youngstown. Township workers effaced the words “Liverpool Township” from the doors, so the truck can become part of the city’s fleet. (Photo by Stephen Huba)
