BEAVER, Pa. - East Liverpool native William E. "Bill" Davie, who most recently resided at Friendship Ridge in Beaver, Pa., passed away at the age of 67 on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at 1:55 p.m. He had been ill for some time.
A son of the late Harry W. and Leota M. Lough Davie, he was born in East Liverpool on Oct. 15, 1946.
A 1964 graduate of Beaver Local High School, he served in Germany with the U.S. Army. A member of the East Liverpool Riddle Lodge 315 of the Free and Accepted Masons, he also held membership in the Mahoning Valley Knife Collectors Association, the East Liverpool Coin Club, and the Twin State Auto Racing Club.

Bill had been a driver with Greyhound Bus Lines for many years until his retirement.
Surviving him is a daughter, Lisa Davie of Wellsville; and two sons, Michael Davie, of East Liverpool, and Ronald Davie of Salem; along with a sister, Carole Davie of East Liverpool. There are four grandchildren. He also leaves his loving canine companion, Shasta.
Michael Wood assistant pastor of Christian Life Tabernacle will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday two hours prior to the service. A Masonic Service will take place prior to the funeral service.
Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
