In Municipal Court Tuesday, a preliminary hearing was set Feb. 20 for Anthony J. Williams, 23, Youngstown, who is charged with having weapons while under disability.
Williams was reportedly inside an East Fifth Street home last Friday when a search warrant was executed by several law enforcement agencies. According to court dockets, during the search, two 9mm handguns were found, one hidden underneath a pile of neatly folded shirts and underwear and the other when a plastic shelf was turned over. Williams told officers the second gun was owned by "Big Jim," but could not provide the man's actual name, according to reports.
A jury trial was scheduled March 20 for Steven K. Hager, 43, Homewood Avenue, charged with violating a protection order.
Charges of littering and failure to obtain a rental license were dismissed against Marsha Delligatti, Washington Street, Lisbon.
Second arraignment was scheduled Feb. 25 for Robert K. Barrett, 29, East Fifth Street, charged with receiving stolen property.
Second pretrial was scheduled March 13 for Curtis W. Smith, 34, Toronto, charged with receiving stolen property.
Pretrial was scheduled Feb. 20 for Jerry D. McCune, 44, Clement Way, charged with domestic violence, with a second domestic violence count dismissed.
Pretrials were scheduled for Natosha R. Athey, 34, 18th Street Heights, Wellsville, charged with possession of drug abuse instruments, March 6; JaJuan N. McKeithen, 39, Norton Street, driving under suspension and required lights, Feb. 27; Karen White, 70, Sophia Street, interference with custody, March 6; and Jerry L. Mimna, 63, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, obstructing official business, March 6.
Randall L. Powers, 47, Strader Road, was fined $65 for assured clear distance ahead.
