ODOT workers injured

STRATTON - Two Ohio Department of Transportation workers were injured Wednesday morning after nearly being hit by a vehicle.

According to WTOV Channel 9, the men were patching potholes along the roadway when a car ran into the back of the ODOT truck. The men were injured trying to get out of the way of the car.

According to Channel 9, the two workers and the driver of the car were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Traffic was backed up more than a mile after the crash, Channel 9 reported.
