TORONTO - Harold W. Millhorn, 92, of Toronto, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 04, 2014, in the Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville.
Harold was born April 25, 1921, in Bloomingdale, Ohio, to the late Earl and Myrtle E. (Robison) Millhorn.
He previously worked for the Hills Dairy Farm in Richmond, Ohio, and was retired from the former Kaul Clay Pipe Co. in Toronto. Harold also was a local farmhand.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy L. (Pinkerton) Millhorn, they were wed Oct. 8, 1944; grandsons Robert "Robbie" and Richard "Richey" Millhorn, granddaughter Penny L. Millhorn Orris; and two brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Robert "Bob" (Debby Rice) Millhorn, and Richard "Dick" (Ann) Millhorn; daughters Barbara Black, Betty (Clair) Rice, and Pam (Tom) Henderson; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Bernice D. Amos; and his beloved best friend, his cat Susie.
Visitation for Harold will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today, Thursday, at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, Toronto, where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Pastor Susan Clegg and Pastor Dan Crowe will officiate the service and burial will follow at Osage Cemetery.
