Columbiana County Sheriff Reports 2-2

EMT personnel reported at 2:52 p.m. Tuesday a woman from a U.S. Route 62 trailer park appeared to have taken too many of her prescription pills, with EMTs finding an empty 90-pill prescription bottle which was filled on Dec. 31. She was transported to Alliance Community Hospital.

A possible domestic was reported at the Frola Motel at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies found William Beesler packing to leave, saying the motel was kicking them out and he and his girlfriend were arguing about it. Another woman offered to pay for them to stay for one more night.

Elana Morris, Lisa Lane, Lisbon, reported at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday she heard tapping at the windows and noises outside the past few nights. On Tuesday she found footprints in the snow and a screen window that had been moved.

A supervisor at the juvenile justice center in Youngstown reported at 9:48 p.m. Tuesday a young girl in their facility reported she was raped by someone in a trailer park on U.S. Route 62 in Knox Township.

Elaine Baxter, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday her twin 14-year-old sons got into an argument and started breaking up things in the house, hitting each other and throwing each other across the room. The boys were taken to the Tobin Center and will be cited with domestic violence.

Kathy Martin, Carey Road, Salem, reported at 1:02 p.m. Wednesday she received a call from someone claiming to be from the bank and telling her there were suspicious charges on her account. She did not give the caller any information and her husband called their credit card company, but found noting suspicious with their account.

Rita Hughes, state Route 170, Negley, reported at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday a man named Thomas Peterson is staying in a trailer she owns and she did not give him permission. Her son had given him permission, but he has stayed for more than a month. Deputies explained she would have to legally evict him.

Greg Keister, U.S. Route 30, Minerva, reported at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday he received a call from a block number from someone wanting to talk to Dave. When Keister explained Dave cannot be reached at the number, the caller reportedly became aggressive and threatened he would get to Dave and would not stop until he did.

An employee of the Dollar General in Rogers reported at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday she received a call from a man who sometimes comes in the store, threatening to come and harm her. The man has been in the store the past two weeks and usually causes a scene while he is there. The same man reportedly was at the Dollar General in Wellsville causing problems earlier on Wednesday.

Kailee Piverotto, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, reported Thursday the front tires on her car were punctured while it was parked at Crestview Local High School.

Jessica Rayle, Hill Street, Lisbon, reported Thursday seeing footprints going from her mail box to her neighbor's home. She also intends to advise the post office.

Jason Jenkins of Central Ohio Recovery called for a deputy while he was trying to repossess a motor vehicle at the Hostetter home Waterford Road, Unity Township, at 6:25 p.m. Thursday. Jerry Hostetter had no idea why Jenkins was repossessing his wife's vehicle but then learned she had used the title to obtain a loan and then failed to make payments.

A deputy was called Thursday to a home on Knox School Road, Homeworth, to check on a 17-year-old boy who lived there. The boy said he was fine and in the process of trying to catch some sleep when the deputy arrived. The boy's grandparents are the ones who asked the sheriff's office to check on him.

Nancy Bergert, Monroeville Heights, Salineville, reported Thursday that sometime in the past two weeks two abandoned vehicles on their property that are kept for scrap were broken into and the heaters and tools were stolen.

Robert Lockhart, 48, Riffle Road, Rogers, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence following an incident at his home at 8:36 p.m. Thursday. Lockhart's nephew is Nicholas Hubbard, who said his uncle head-butted him during a dispute that began when Lockhart started screaming at him and his grandmother.

Judy Burkey, Lisbon-Dungannon Road, Lisbon, reported telephone harassment from solicitors at 12:20 p.m. Friday.

Devon Delong, Seigler Road, Salineville, reported at 7:42 a.m. Saturday his 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt jumped out of gear and rolled into an embankment at his grandmother's driveway on Spring Valley Road in Salineville.
