Man charged with murder among indictments

LISBON - A man charged with murder in the shooting death of his half-brother was among seven open indictments issued by the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury last week. An additional 16 secret indictments were issued, which will be released after they are served.

Quinton E. Lewis, 34, last known address Fairlawn, is charged with murder with a firearm specification, having a weapon while under a disability and tampering with evidence.

Court documents claim Lewis purposely caused the death of Marion F. Lewis, in Salem on Dec. 21. The charges allege he utilized a Sig Sauer 9 mm pistol, which he is not entitled to carry after both a 2008 conviction of trafficking in drugs and 2012 possession of drugs conviction. Additionally, he is accused of attempting to remove or conceal the pistol following the alleged shooting.

Also indicted were:

Loraine A. Speicher, 38, Mineral Ridge, is charged with burglary, a second degree felony, for allegedly going into the home of Jacob Wright, state Route 558, Columbiana, on Nov. 19.

Joshua L. Bable, 33, North Front Street, Negley, is charged with burglary, a second degree felony. Bable allegedly went into the home of Jacob Wright, state Route 558, Columbiana, on Nov. 19.

Richard E. Parrish, 41, Maple Street, Lisbon, is charged with felonious assault, a second degree felony, and aggravated menacing, a first degree misdemeanor, for allegedly harming Allen Ingledue with a knife leaving him with a lacerated eyelid and a cut on both his arm and abdomen on Dec. 2 . On the same date he is accused of threatening to harm Gary Holloway or a member of his family.

Jonathan M. Weaver, 26, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, is charged with domestic violence, a fourth degree felony, for allegedly punching Ashley Cox several times in the head, face and back area. Weaver has a previous domestic violence conviction from July 1, 2013.

Dakota J. Mahon, 20, West Clark Street, East Palestine, is charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth degree felony, for allegedly having miscellaneous jewelry on Nov. 8 belonging to Richard Whitley valued at $4,009 and allegedly selling the jewelry to National Cash Advance for $393.

William M. Alesi III, 29, Liberty Street, Salem, is charged with domestic violence, a fourth degree felony, after he allegedly caused physical harm to Judy Peck, his sister, pushing her into a computer desk and pinning her to the floor with his hand on her throat on Dec. 22. Alesi has a previous domestic violence conviction from July 12, 2012.
