FAIRFIELD, Ohio -Edna Pauline Summers, 88 of Fairfield went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014.
Pauline was a longtime resident of Chester and a faithful member of the First Christian Church in Chester where she was very active, belonging to the Loyal Daughters, Young at Heart Club and the Golden Age Club.
She retired from Homer Laughlin China Company where she worked 30 years as a finisher and decorator.

Pauline was a member of the Auxiliary to American Legion Post 121 and she was a graduate of the former Wells High in Newell.
She was born in Chester on March 1, 1926 to the late Charles R. and Pearl Williams Rose.
Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mervin E. Summers in 1965.
She leaves behind her brother, John (June) Rose of Chester.
Pauline also leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Donna K. (Paul) Jordan of Ohio, and Barbara A. (Lew) Adkins of South Carolina.
In addition she is survived by her loving grandchildren, Chris (Vickie) Jordan, Doug (Melissa) Jordan both of Ohio, and Amanda (Justin) Richardson of Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Zachary, Cole, Brooke, and Cam Jordan and Virginia Richardson.
Her pastor, Stacey Popejoy will celebrate Pauline's life on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends are invited to join the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services and interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
