EAST LIVERPOOL - City police Monday night investigated a incident involving shots being fired at the Woodland Hill.

According to police, a man drove up to the housing complex, walked past some bystanders and started firing at another man, Tyler Austin.

Austin was not struck. Two apartments were hit: the front door of apartment 316 and the upstairs area of 317.

The man fled in a vehicle as did Austin, who called police while he was driving down toward St. George Hall.

Five shell casings were recovered. Also, one bullet was found in apartment 317.

Police have a suspect in mind.

Captain Patrick Wright expects to charge him with two counts of improperly firing a firearm into an occupied structure and felonious assault.
