East Liverpool Municipal Court for 1-9

In Municipal Court Wednesday, Matthew S. Rudder, 24, College Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 150 suspended, after pleading no contest to misdemeanor theft. Judge Melissa Byers-Emmerling found him guilty and ordered him to serve the remaining 30 days starting Jan. 24. Rudder was fined $200 and assessed court costs. He also must pay $1,200 in restitution to Home Savings Bank by March 7 and must serve two years' unsupervised probation.

Hollie C. Reese, 24, Cricket Lane, East Liverpool, pleaded no contest to texting while driving, not having a child restraint and no front plate and was found guilty on all three charges. Fined $411, including court costs. Charge of possession of marijuana dismissed.

Nina V. Sattler, 25, Cricket Lane, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, amended from possession of marijuana. Fined $100 and assessed court costs.

Alan M. Krulik, 34, East Ruby Drive, charged with driving under the influence and driving left of center, had his revocation hearing continued until March 18. He must complete counseling and community service in the meantime.

Michael J. Salsberry, 38, Givens Road, Wellsville, was arraigned on a charge of domestic violence and paid 10 percent of a $5,000 bond. He signed a time waiver so he could hire an attorney. Second arraignment set for Jan. 17.

Darla D. Davis, 28, North Shady Lane, East Liverpool, appeared on charges of driving under suspension and failure to obey a stop sign. Continued until Feb. 7.

Shawn M. Quarterman, 22, Fifth Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded no contest to failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead (accident) and was found guilty. Fined $65 and assessed court costs. Charge of having expired plates dismissed (now valid).

Kristin R. Coleman, 20, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, appeared by video for a probation violation (theft). Bond set at $5,000. Probation revocation hearing set for Jan. 23.
