In Municipal Court Tuesday, four people charged in connection to a purse snatching Sunday appeared for arraignment before Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling.
Gloria D. Flaherty, 39, Shadyside Avenue, was bound over to county Common Pleas Court on two counts of obstructing official business in relation to the case. Her bond was set at $15,000 cash/surety.
A preliminary hearing was set Jan. 16 for Frank J. Flaherty Jr., 38, Shadyside Avenue, charged with robbery, with $100,000 cash/surety bond set. He was ordered to have no contact with Walmart or its parking lot. A second pretrial was scheduled the same day for Flaherty on an unrelated charge of passing bad checks.
Brianne M. Flaherty, 19, Shadyside Avenue, also had a preliminary hearing set Jan. 16 on a robbery charge, with $75,000 cash/surety bond set. She also was ordered to have no contact with Walmart or its parking lot.
The final defendant in the case, David J. Mathes, 22, Shadyside Avenue, had a preliminary hearing set Jan. 16, with cash/surety bond set at $75,000. He also was ordered to have no contact with Walmart or its parking lot.
In other court matters:
Pretrial was set Feb. 6 for Tina N. Jackson, 45, Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with theft.
A second arraignment was scheduled Jan. 21 for Brandon A. Green, 21, Martha Street, charged with driving under suspension and no front license plate.
A third pretrial was scheduled Feb. 11 for Charles W. Watts, 48, Grimm's Bridge Road, charged with endangering children, OVI, failure to control and no seat belt.
