COLUMBUS - William Thomas Clark, of Columbus, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014. He was 70.
Born Jan. 5, 1943, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late William and Helen Burbick Clark. He was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1961 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Following his military service, Tom returned to the area and worked at the former Crucible Steel Company until 1982. He later moved to Columbus where he worked for Roadway Trucking.
He leaves behind his two sons, Brad Clark, and his wife Shelly, of Hanoverton; and Matt Clark, and his wife Karen, of Medina. He will be sadly missed by three grandchildren: Jake, Colin and Noah Clark.
A sister survives as well, Barbara (Clark) White, of East Liverpool, along with several nephews and a niece.
Friends may visit from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present. Lloyd Campbell, minister of the First Christian Church in Kensington, will conduct a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
