Two men were arrested Monday afternoon after officers responded to three separate fight calls involving them. Charged with disorderly conduct/fighting were David J. Jackson, 48, North Market Street, East Palestine and Richard E. Woolley, 48, Annesley Road. According to reports, officers first responded to an alley between Fourth and Fifth streets, where they reported finding Jackson and Woolley fighting in the middle of the street, reportedly over a local woman. They were sent on their way with information for filing charges if they desired to do so. A short while later, officers responded to another fight involving the men, although the location was not noted on reports. At the second call, Jackson requested an ambulance, saying he had been assaulted by Woolley, and he was transported to the hospital. Woolley had reportedly fled the scene prior to officers' arrival but was located and told to stay away from Jackson or face charges. A short time later, officers were called to the emergency room for two men fighting and found Jackson and Woolley again in an altercation, resulting in them both being charged.
