Randy McCuen, Applegate Road, Lisbon, reported at 3:56 p.m. Saturday sometime within the past week someone broke into two homes on their property. One house was entered by someone throwing a cement block into the back door. Four guns belonging to his father-in-law were taken along with some CDs. The other home was entered after a window was broken out.
Lynette Dillard, state Route 170, East Palestine, reported at 5:29 p.m. Friday someone broke into a neighbor's home and was still there. Deputies arrived and spoke to the owner of the home, but no one was found in the home at all.
A Bolivar Road, Wellsville, woman reported at 4:29 p.m. Friday she saw a vehicle parked the wrong way on the road near Boyd Road. She stopped to say something to them and a woman got out of the other vehicle and threw something at her car. A man then got out of the vehicle and started yelling at her. She called deputies and the vehicle left the area.
Diana Good, Forest Street, Lisbon, reported at 3:56 p.m. Friday a mentally handicapped person she is the legal guardian for was being unruly and defiant. He had charged her and she left the house for fear of her own safety. Deputies spoke to the man, who would not provide any more than yes and no answers. He was taken to Salem Community Hospital for evaluation.
Timothy Foster, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, reported at 5:48 p.m. Friday his landlord changed the locks on the house trailer he was renting from her. He also found a toaster and small heater belonging to him sitting on the back porch. Deputies attempted to call the landlord, but were unsuccessful.
