Officers responding to a report of a woman yelling for help on College Street were met at the door by Larry O. Foster, 58, Ogden Street, who said everything was fine. He had an active warrant and when officers prepared to take him into custody, the coat Foster claimed as his reportedly contained a syringe and glass crack pipe. In addition to the petty theft warrant, he was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.
While observing a suspected drug house on Walnut Street, an officer saw a vehicle with a loud exhaust leaving and determined the driver, Michael E. Lamp, 35, Garner Avenue, had no driver's license and that he had an active warrant. The vehicle was stopped and K-9 officer Ivo was used to search, alerting on several areas, according to reports. A marijuana roach and glass pipe were reportedly found, and Lamp was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and driving under suspension.
While backing on Monroe Street, a vehicle driven by Veronica M. McLaughlin, 36, Smithfield Street, reportedly struck a parked vehicle owned by Lorie A. Buckely, Clark Avenue, Wellsville. McLaughlin was charged with no operator's license and improper backing.
