The Review
Calcutta Elementary School fourth-grade teacher Steve Hall gives instructions to his student James Monte on Friday before he carries a box of toys down the hall. The toys were collected as part of a school-wide toy drive for former Beaver Local Middle School math teacher Rick Salsberry. Salsberry distributes the toys at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Akron Children’s Hospital Unit at East Liverpool City Hospital every Christmas in honor of his daughter, Lindsey, who died of cancer in 2007. Salsberry will take the toys to Pittsburgh on Monday. (Photo by Stephen Huba)
