Officers were called to a home on 18th Street Tuesday night by the home owner, who was not named in reports, who said a man he knows had shown up and begun to tear up the house. Officers said the man, identified as Dustin Brookes, no age or address listed, was unable to sit in a chair, falling onto the floor and was yelling and screaming at them and the home owner. He would alternately become violent and then begin crying, threatening to kill the home owner and himself. Brookes was taken into custody and taken to the police station, where he was charged, although the exact charge was not listed on the report. North Star Critical Care was called to transport Brookes due to his threats to harm himself and others.
