EAST LIVERPOOL - Avondale Baptist Church will hold its monthly community dinner 6 p.m. today. Menu includes ham, potatoes, salads, vegetables, bread, desserts, and drinks. All guests are asked to first report to the main sanctuary of the church.

WELLSVILLE-Wellsville Sons of Italy will have its regular monthly meeting 7:30 p.m. today.

HAMMONDSVILLE - The annual Christmas family night - for residents of Brush Creek Township with children under the age of 15 - is 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Brush Creek Township Senior Center. All children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be a movie, popcorn, treats, and beverages, along with a special visitor at 6:30. Those attending are welcome to dress in pajamas and bring blankets.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The J&L Cold Strip Retirees will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. Thursday at Hoge's Restaurant.

WELLSVILLE - The First Christian Church Bread of Life Outreach, Main Street, will give away free bread to those in need 8:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Oak Glen Middle School Student Council will be among the volunteers assisting with the Good Shepherd Lunch at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 220 W. Fourth St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The student council also assisted in November.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Moose Lodge will have bingo Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., early bird 6:30, with regular at 7. Ages 18-over. Full kitchen menu available.

NEW CUMBERLAND - The Sacred Heart Ladies' Guild and Chester Arts Club are sponsoring a blood drive 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 31 at Sacred Heart Center, 4th Street and Indiana Avenue.

The American Red Cross will be giving a gift certificate for a pound of Dunkin Donuts coffee to the first 19 blood donors.
