INDUSTRY-Thomas G. Modany, 53, of Industry, passed away unexpectedly beside his wife, Jeanne, on Dec. 15, 2013.
Born Oct. 4, 1960 in Rochester, he was a son of Julia V. Heidel Modany and the late Albert F. Modany, Sr.,he was a member of St. Blaise Parish, Midland. A 1978 graduate of Western Beaver High School, he also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. He was retired, having worked construction for Laborers Union 833, New Brighton. He enjoyed history, politics, and golf, and had a good sense of humor.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Modany.

He passed away with his wife of nearly three years, Jeanne M. Modany.
Besides his mother, Julia, he is survived by two sons, Gregory Albert (Jessica) Modany, Ohioville, Andrew M. Modany, East Liverpool, a daughter, Courtney E. Modany, East Liverpool, two brothers, Albert Jr. (Gloriann) Modany, Robert (Julie) Modany, both of Ohioville, two sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Flanagan, Pittsburgh, Regina (Michael) Patterson, Ohioville, a granddaughter, Angelina Modany, East Liverpool, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Blaise Parish by Father Michael Yaksick. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
